A refreshing, dairy-free frozen dessert that captures the vibrant essence of fresh mango with silky, creamy sorbet texture made in the Ninja Creami.

  • Total Time: 24 hours 15 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups fresh mango puree
  • 1 cup cold filtered water
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon lime zest, optional
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt

Instructions

  1. Peel 2 ripe mangoes and remove the pit.
  2. Chop the mango flesh into manageable chunks.
  3. Puree the mango chunks in a blender or food processor until completely smooth.
  4. Press the mango puree through a fine-mesh strainer to remove any fibers.
  5. Measure out 2 cups of smooth mango puree.
  6. Combine cold filtered water and granulated sugar in a small saucepan.
  7. Heat over medium heat, stirring constantly until the sugar completely dissolves into a clear simple syrup.
  8. Remove the syrup from the heat and cool completely to room temperature.
  9. Pour the cooled sugar syrup into a large mixing bowl with the mango puree.
  10. Stir thoroughly until fully combined.
  11. Add fresh lime juice and whisk well.
  12. Stir in lime zest and sea salt.
  13. Taste and adjust sweetness or lime intensity if needed.
  14. Transfer the mango mixture to a Ninja Creami-compatible freezer cup, filling only to the maximum fill line.
  15. Secure the lid firmly onto the freezer cup.
  16. Place the container upright on a level surface in the freezer.
  17. Freeze for at least 24 hours until completely solid.
  18. Remove the frozen container from the freezer.
  19. Insert the container into the Ninja Creami machine and align it correctly.
  20. Select the sorbet setting and process for 3 to 5 minutes.
  21. Remove the cup once processing is complete.
  22. Serve immediately for the smoothest texture.

Notes

Use ripe, fragrant mangoes for the best tropical flavor. Strain the mango puree for a silky texture, freeze the base for the full 24 hours, and process immediately after removing it from the freezer.
